Linz AG Linien, the
public transport operator in Linz (A), will expand its fleet by 20 double-articulated Exqui.City tram-buses. The new vehicles
with the futuristic Cityrunner look will be equipped with an innovative drive technology which is unique in Austria: Linz´s
new zero-emission trolley tram-buses will be entirely electrically operated and powered by two maintenance-free asynchronous
motors including a battery-powered reserve drive. The battery is charged during the ride through the overhead line or by its
regenerative brake. This innovative technology makes it possible to cover short-distance routes catenary free.

Medha Traction Equipments Pvt. Ltd., our Joint Venture in Hyderabad, India, has manufactured more than 1500 machines since
the opening of the production site in 2012. On August 10, 2017 a small get-together was organized to celebrate the production
of the 1500th machine.

The Australian cities
Canberra and Newcastle launched revitalization projects including the introduction of new tram routes for a modern city center
mobility. Transport Canberra Light Rail is responsible for operating a new line of 12 km length, providing a corridor between
Canberra‘s government district and the area of Gungahlin. With a new tram line which will be 3 km long, the municipal administration
of Newcastle is planning to combine a new beginning and modern aesthetics with former times of tramway operation for the city.
The opening of the two new traffic routes is scheduled for 2019.

Traktionssysteme Bosnia has
successfully completed the surveillance audit for ISO 9001 and the IRIS certification renewal (International Railway Industry
Standard). In addition to a successful revision, the company also gained a higher number of points in the IRIS evaluation
system compared to the previous years. This is a result of combined efforts from Traktionssysteme Austria’s and Traktionssysteme
Bosnia’s hardworking people.

Traktionssysteme Austria has completed
the changeover to the new ISO revision of the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards and successfully completed the Repeat Audit
carried out by Quality Austria, including the standards IRIS and ISO 50001.

in the company competition for the State Prize for Corporate Quality 2017. Due to the achieved result, Traktionssysteme Austria
was included in the list of Austria´s excellent companies and may use the logo „Exzellentes Unternehmen Österreichs
2017“ (Excellent Austrian Company) for its own purposes.

TSA was awarded by CAF, Construcciones
y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles, S.A. in Spain, to design and deliver traction motors for CIVITY UK, a low floor train solution
which was developed for commuter and regional services. The train operator ARRIVA UK will strengthen its service by purchasing
43 Civity electric trains which can reach a maximum speed of 160 km/h.

Stadler Rail completed the first sale of its new
broad-gauge trams on the Russian Market: Saint Petersburg ordered 23 Metelitsa (Метелица) trams. The vehicles are being produced
in great measure at the Stadler Minsk factory and in Switzerland. The first six vehicles will be handed over at the end of

The Glasgow Subway is an underground metro
line in Scotland´s biggest city. It is the third-oldest underground metro system in the world after the London Underground
and the Budapest Metro and was opened in December 1896. In a consortium with Ansaldo STS, Stadler Rail won a tender in 2016
for 17 new vehicles. The completely modernized system will have a fleet of 17 driverless trains.
